Faith in Practice: Bridging the Gap in Culturally Competent Care – A Focus on the Muslim Patient

This program is designed to introduce learners to Islam and the Muslim patient, as well as how a provider could identify characteristic religious beliefs, apply religious practices to healthcare, analyze the healthcare considerations of the patient, and ultimately evaluate their cultural competence in providing patient-centered care.
