Drew Junker is a final-year pharmacy student at the University of South Carolina, where she completed both her undergraduate and Pharm.D. studies. She has experience working as a pharmacy intern at a community hospital in a large healthcare system. Additionally, she developed a passion for and has had large involvement with underserved healthcare based on the similarities that she notices between rural South Carolina and her hometown of Baltimore, MD. In her free time, she loves music and concerts, cooking, and doing crossword puzzles.
As someone who has a fervent passion for advocacy for the individual and the community as well as increased access to healthcare for all, however, I would argue that “Let 340B” is an unfinished sentence. If I could personally change the statement, I would rather it be stretched to say, “Let 340B the driving force for increased access to healthcare services as it was meant to be.”
