Continuing education (CE) credit improves the quality, impartiality and integrity of CE programs. Pharmcon and freeCE began as a CE Provider for pharmacists but has grown to additionally provide continuing education for pharmacy technicians, nurses, and physicians. It is our mission to offer the highest quality CE to meet the various requirements set by the state boards of pharmacy.

APPROVED FOR PHARMACISTS
ACCREDITATION
PharmCon is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
The Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) is the national agency for the accreditation of professional degree programs in pharmacy and providers of continuing pharmaceutical education.

As an approved Florida Board of Pharmacy provider of continuing education programs for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, PharmCon/FreeCE reports credits to CE Broker for Florida licensed participants who have provided their license number, including prefix, in their profile.
To add your Florida license to your PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:
Log in, then click PROFILE in the top right corner, and select ACCESS MY CE PORTAL. In your CE Portal, click the person icon in the top right corner and select MY PROFILE.
On the left side, select PROFESSIONAL PROFILE and enter or update your license information.
CPE Monitor & National Association of Boards of Pharmacy
CPE Monitor, through the collaborative efforts of NABP, the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and ACPE providers, allows you to electronically keep track of CPE credits from ACPE-accredited providers. PharmCon/FreeCE reports credits to CPE Monitor for participants who have provided their eProfile ID number in their profile.
To enter your NABP ePID into your Professional Profile:
Log in, then click on PROFILE in the top right corner, and select ACCESS MY CE PORTAL. In your CE Portal, click the person icon in the top right corner and select MY PROFILE.
On the left side, select PROFESSIONAL PROFILE and enter or update your NABP ePID.

PharmCon offers pharmacy technician-specific activities for all PTCB recertification and reinstatement candidates. Pharmacy technician-specific activities are indicated both in the TARGET AUDIENCE description and the ACPE UNIVERSAL ACTIVITY NUMBER (denoted with a T at the end).

Once redirected to your CE Portal, navigate to the menu located in the upper right-hand portion of the screen, hover over the menu and select “My Profile”. To update your personal information, select “Professional Profile” in the left-hand navigation menu. Get your NABP eProfile ID or enter your ePID into your freeCE profile.
APPROVED FOR Nurses
ACCREDITATION
PharmCon is an approved course provider of continuing education for nurses by the Florida Board of Nursing and the California Board of Nursing.
FreeCE courses (PharmCon accredited) meet pharmaco-therapeutics/pharmacology requirements for American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Category 1 Continuing Education Hours for certification renewal. The same hours submitted to renew certification may be submitted to a State Board of Nursing for re-licensure. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accepts formally approved continuing education sponsored by organizations accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). PharmCon is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
CALIFORNIA BOARD OF REGISTERED NURSING
The California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) is a state governmental agency established by law to protect the public by regulating the practice of registered nurses. The BRN is responsible for implementation and enforcement of the Nurse Practice Act: the laws related to nursing education, licensure, practice, and discipline. The Nurse Practice Act created a nine-member board which serves as the BRN decision-making body.
FLORIDA BOARD OF NURSING
The Florida Board of Nursing protects and promotes the health of all residents and visitors in the state through organized state and community efforts, including cooperative agreements with counties.

ACCREDITATION
PharmCon, Inc. activities may be approved in conjunction with a provider fully accredited by the American Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing education for physicians.
CE ACCREDITATION OF COUNCIL FOR CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION
Collectively, the ACCME and its recognized state medical societies accredit approximately 2,500 providers of continuing medical education. ACCME accredited providers educate physicians throughout the United States. State accredited providers primarily educate physicians within their own state or surrounding states.
