    • Overview

      The radiolabeling of erythrocytes, or red blood cells, is a commonly requested nuclear medicine study.  By understanding the indications and mechanism of action of radiolabeling kits, healthcare professionals are better poised to understand the limitations and potential for error in the radiolabeling process.  This session seeks to examine the process of erythrocyte radiolabeling and explore common indications for this nuclear medicine procedure.
