The holiday season is quickly approaching, and so is another important date for Florida pharmacy technicians: December 31. For pharmacy technicians, this date signifies more than just the end of the year. It is also the last chance to finish the State of Florida’s continuing education requirements.

Every two years, registered pharmacy technicians in Florida need to finish 20 hours of CE, including specific mandatory topics like HIV/AIDS and medication errors. Yet, many professionals find themselves scrambling in the final weeks to meet the requirement, stressed over fitting last-minute courses into an already hectic schedule.
